Garance’s Fallen Eden

After 15 years, Garance Twikman opened her eyes. Nobody could believe it

But it was a reality. People had already waked up after such a long time in the coma, but not often in good shape.

She spent one week in the hospital after she come back from the “dead”

Her parents were so happy, this car accident took 15 years of their lives, years they would never been able to have back.

Everyone were surprised when Garance first talk was about fulfilling a list

She remember everything and wanted to go to her favorite fast food restaurant, see her friends, her room and all her stuffs, and she spoke about a place she was while in the coma

Her parents explained to her that it was just a dream but as she insisted, they promised to drive her

After her reinstallation home, they packed few things and went for a trip. The parents had no idea how long it will take to join the place she wanted to go to, but at least they willing to do that for her.

That was strange how the girl was given them direction,

“Go straight, turn left and so on”

They took almost an hour to arrive; in fact the place was just a little out of town. It seems like an abandoned house where nature took over. The ruin of an old house was trying to keep its majesty in the middle of the land.

Garance said in a crying voice

“What happened here? Where is the beautiful garden? Where are the birds? What happened to the pond where ducks are happily?”

Her parents thought that she was probably delirious, but how could she know this place where they’ve never been before, how could she imagine that this place was somehow something else but a ruin.

She ran to a door that seems heavy because of the iron frame and thick cracked glasses. She used both her hands to push it, she seemed devastated by the view but she kept walking through the herbs that had gain over the property.

After half an hour wandering the place, they went home.

Her father spent the week after to find out about the property’s history. And he learned that an old woman owned it for a long time, she was lonely, never got any visit even her only child who did not want to live in the place when her mother was gone.

When Garance’s father has offered to buy the property, he did not resist, he was eager getting rid of it and accepting to sell it for peanuts.

Garance’s parents arranged the place as she girl remembered it from her dream and they moved there to be happy and try to have the happiness life that had been stolen for 15 years.
